From the welcome guide:

"Extended Exterior Paint Palette
If you are interested in exploring an extended colour palette
for your Ford GT, your Ford GT Concierge will initiate the
process of acquiring, matching and delivering test samples
for your approval. We ask that you inform us of your interest
in the extended colour palette process at your earliest
convenience to ensure we allocate enough time to complete
the process."

What do you guys make of this??

If you want a color that is not in the 'standard palette', tell them EARLY in the process once you have been assigned your concierge.
(Ie if you want pink or lime green as example.")

I guess that I should get on this ASAP. Acquiring a reference Porsche 918 could take Ford awhile. :wink

Somehow I don't Miura Verde will look right on this car.

How about 2006 midnight blue with white stripe? It would be fun to have matching cars, but I almost feel like it's a cop-out

I think you should do it! I would, given the opportunity.

it should be interesting to see how the numbers fall as far as how many will be ordered with stripes vs. without.

I suppose you can always just get one with stripes and one without :biggrin

which makes me really wonder if anyone will end up with two!

Stripe/no stripe is causing WWIII in my household.

Yes it is. I count my blessings daily.

Extended color palette is going to add time and complexity to your order. And a lot of money. If you choose to spec a color not in range, you're going to have to (literally) sign off on the sample and then there's no going back.

Don't expect approval to spec pink or lime green with an orange interior and blue brakes.

Will they allow the Gulf colors?

No - I've asked that already :-(

But this is a chance to own a "one of one" car

Until someone copies it.

So you're saying there is some sort of 'design police'?

I would then assume that there must be some ability to 'influence' the outcome/gain favorable consideration for my chosen paint scheme? :wink
