A friend of mine calls them boat headers instead of bundle of snakes because they do not intmingle with each other like the ones on the GT40s of the Sixties. I wonder if anybody looked at them and can tell me, did they have a muffler? Of course since it was a concept it didn't have to have catalytic conveters.
And also I want to know if anybody is offering pipes like this for racetrack use? I was disappointed Borlas only offering different mufflers--I was hoping he would offer tuned exhaust.
Still I am sure the car sounds lean and mean with his mufflers compared to the stock ones.
Also does anyone know where the engine came from? I figure it came off the Lightning Concept truck but am not certain if that Concept was done before the Ford GT40 Concept car. They have the same look, and most of the same parts in the engine and both were rated at 500 hp. originally.
