Greetings All

The DUB Tour rolled into Detroit on Saturday, and it afforded us the opportunity to introduce a new carbon upgrade right in our own back yard.

This is our first Lamborghini component, the front trunk lid for Gallardos.

There are a lot of trunk lids for a lot of cars out there and the majority are really very poor. Most of these trunk lids and hoods have carbon on the first layer only, and the rest is fiberglass that is painted black. Often the inner panel is all fiberglass.

Our Gallardo trunk is 100% carbon. It is sanded and buffed to a mirror finish on both the outer and inner panel. The seams are completely finished. The internal brackets are powder coated and use stainless weld studs and weld nuts. It is truely a 'no-expense-spared' part.

While we do not have photos up on the website yet, you can see these two from this weekend's show.

Interested parties can PM me or email me at: [email protected]

Hey DP

Yes, he mentioned that he met up with you. Sounds like someone soaked down the track for a long distance...

Yes, the DUB show was crazy. There had to be 20K people through COBO in a 6 hour show. They guy I shared booth space with caters to some rap stars, so there were a couple of 'entourages' in the booth. Had three magazine photographers on the car, so I think it was worth the effort. It is a good thing I suffer from tinitus, or my ears would be ringing today (well, they ring constantly anyway with the tinitus....) Man is that a loud show! Myles really runs a good event. Very professional and well coordinated.

On the sniff for another GT, I hear?

You too eh?

Ringin since 1997 here. Good thing I married a girl who doesn't mind sleeping with various noisemakers running.

That hood looks great on the Gallardo, Kip. Nice Banner, too by the way!
When do you think you'll be posting some more pics, (close ups, I hope)?

Are those the original gas struts?

Good job.
