Just spent 3 days stranded 9 stories up with no cell, power, water, heat, elevators...food/water on bags of ice in freezer

Utter devastation in lower manhattan

Got GT, SL, Vette on truck for Cali at 1pm Sun....cleared PA/Ohio border as hurricane made landfall...rolled the dice and got them out

Apt movers were scheduled for this Fri.

Now on flight hopefully Fri to meet Cars truck & head to meetings next week

Just had first hot meal & shower in 3 days.

Not too many hurricanes in CA, but we have lots of earthquakes and blondes!

We are sending hurricane "Kayvan" out to you, he'll deal with the blondes, you'll have to handle the earthquakes on your own!!!
 
Glad you are ok. I've got lots of friends and family in the city. One has 9 ft of water in their building's basement in the east village. Consquently no power.

Great news Kavan. Talked to Geno L. in Brooklyn during the storm. He lost power but he and family were ok. My Daughter lives in S.Long Island and was ok too, just can't get to work at the Time Warner Bldg. What a mess. I also can't help you on earthquakes but Tropical Storms are our expertise on the Texas Coast. Tomy

On plane at 7am via nyc on Sunday....in Cali by 10:30am

Meeting cars @ noon & heading to lunch / beach hopefully for next couple decades

Cars arrived Sunday night in Newport Beach....all is well.

Passport Transport did a nice job; lowest price, early pickup, GPS tracking, an driver knew even how to adjust tub in trunk.

Been driving Vette daily and took out GT for a spin tonight...heavy marine fog rolled in today !

SoCal is truly paradise

Went out last night for date & live music in Corona del Mar...very nice to roll in my Vette
