Eddie FourFather Hill - racing trophies in 9 decades
From Eddie and Ercie Hill
We are happy to announce the runner-up and third place trophies Eddie won at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit in Hallett, Oklahoma, on September 11-12, 2020 in his new Firman Formula B road racer, powered by a Kawasaki ZX1000 motorcycle engine. It was our first time on track with the new car.
This milestone represents nine decades of wins for Eddie, starting with the first trophy he won riding a Cushman motor scooter which he hopped up himself. He has now won trophies in the 1940’s, 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s, 2000’s, 2010’s, and now 2020’s owning/driving/tuning dragsters, motorcycles, drag boats, and now open wheel road racers.
And he has the scars to prove it.
Eddie is the team owner/driver/tuner, and Ercie co-owns and acts as crew chief. Our crew members are Tito Barboza and Karl Strouhal. The race team is sponsored by Eddie Hill’s Fun Cycles, Inc., at 401 North Scott in Wichita Falls.
We give the honor and glory of our racing achievements to the Lord, and thank Him for blessing us so abundantly.
By the way, Eddie is 84 years old – blessed and highly favored - thank you, Lord!
