He is a cool dude, isn't he? Ercie and I really enjoyed his visit to us here in Wichita Falls.
I am glad he is able to enjoy the Heritage the way I envisioned using it myself, with the Whipple supercharger and the Heffner exhaust.
But then I got hooked on open wheelers, and now have THREE of them.
Actually, I think it was his idea to get both the 06 Heritage and the 2019 GT side by side in the sun. Great idea, a stunning pair.
Speaking of sr71, the owner of the local municipal FBO, back in the day when we had our own Learjet 25D, (499EH), was one of the lucky ones to fly the SR-71, and he had some interesting stories to tell! And he built a very nice RV-something aircraft.
Eddie - That's awesome As a teen in the 80s my dad took me to the Gatornationals for quite a few years in a row, and I saw you race ... along with Don Garlits, Kenny Bernstein, John Force, Shirley Muldowney, Warren Johnson, etc etc. I still live right here in Gainesville.
