For those who would rather not go through the work and expense of installing the Heffner or Borla exhaust, here is an easier exhaust system to install.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

No self respecting PRIUS owner should be w/o wunna these! :lol

'Course, AN EXTERNAL SPEAKER should be STANDARD with these things as well, don'tcha think?

EP,

I read an article about putting external speakers on the PRIUS and other electric cars due to safety. They said the cars are too quiet for pedestrians and have caused accidents especially for the blind. Motorcyclists have known for years that loud pipes save motorcyclist lives as cars usually hear a motorcycle approaching them before they see the motorcycle.

I guess I could install one in a Prius and get that Fcar sound and save a bundle in the process :)

hey ep ... pick one up for your hover round chair. :thumbsup

Yup. That's what I was getting at. There have been several proposals on what to do in that dept. But, I'm betting THIS device would be considered an "inappropriate" solution (stated with nose-in-air). After all, we COULDN'T allow a solution to any problem/issue to be FUN as well as effective, now, could we? WHAT SELF RESPECTING BUREAUCRAT WOULD SIGN ONTO THAT???! :biggrin

...'expecting it to arrive Tuesday...:mad :slap

Sounds more like a Lambo V 10 :biggrin

The tesla's are supposed to be totally silent and don't have any added 'noise-makers', other than the owner cursing at it. But in truth, all the noisy fans, squeaks and such make plenty of noise. A plug in prius probably will be too quite.

Reminds me of the "VRROOM" fake motors Mattel sold for bicycles when I was a kid.

Lucky guy - in my day, we had to settle for playing cards attached to the fender supports with clothespins, which were hit by the wheel spokes....

I'm still laughing about this thing... I started to watch more youtube vids and couldn't stop laughing... now I want one! LOL

I wonder if you could rig it to the cigarette lighter on a golf cart? That could be way too much fun!!! :biggrin
