Does anyone have one for sale? Is anybody making them? I am really tired of the Mcintosh.

Join the club. Been hoping to find one for past year with no luck either.
Nobody making them right now. Would think wouldn't be that hard to 3-d copy one...
 
Know of one other person plus myself. So we are at least four now. I know someone wanted to recreate them but so far nothing available ...

I would order two. I know a couple others that would order. I bet we could get a buy on 10 to 15. Just don't know if that is enough.
 
No one is making them. Kip Ewing was the only maker.
 
Someone let me borrow one for about a week and we could get them done. Just hate to reinvent the wheel here..

I have the DD plug done. Have had it done for over a year just have not followed threw with getting a mold made. I can do them in billet alum once i get it scanned and that will probably be the best route at this piont.. They will NOT be the same price kip charged to do them. Its gonna cost me a bunch to do this. His were cast and welded. Mine will be billet alum and its the only way to get them done in a timely fashion and that is the important thing. I was originally gonna do them in fiberglass and carbon but the mold is complicated todo that also.

If i can get a commitment of 10 i will follow threw and send this out to be scanned and get fixtures made for machining them.
 
Have one in my GT in carbon fiber... love it!
 
Did you just say in billet??? Do you know how big a piece of billet that is going to take? Very expensive to make that happen... Maybe I can get the good client hook up... LOL

they are wrapped c.f over alum

awesome! Now we just need to find one.
 
How about making a plastic form using one of those 3D printers and then cover the plastic in Carbon Fiber or paint? Seems much cheaper, faster and lighter. Also easier to trim for a fit.

I know a guy who might be able to help... Mark Johnson at IPSCO, http://www.ipsco.org/ 303 252 4481. Very big / well known in the Pantera / Viper worlds.
 
I am working on something that might help us all. Still waiting on some confirmation on a couple things and will be back.
