Ackshully, that'd hafta be a code PHRASE, wouldn't it? But, you undoubtedly WOULD know more about what goes on at The Wynn in THAT dept regardless!

I came across this video last week. It was associated with the video in DBK's post 'The Luckiest Guy Alive'. One of the last few comments made threw me for a loop - http://www.vimeo.com/4268001

So today I went by Chip's shop to confirm what I thought I heard.

It is true......and I am at a loss for words.

Thats a mistake!

Sure not what I was expecting to hear

Wait a second...

This reminds me of a poor Gallardo a while back...

I have listened to the video clip, and have no idea what you are referring too....

I believe something along the lines of "were going to rip off the ugly parts" "the whole body and replace it with a custom new mustang body" Please dear god tell me he misspoke about the mustang body!

Aaaaahhh,............no.

It is going to be a 'Concept' Mustang.

Woudn't you think there would be a cheaper starting point for a "concept mustang" than tearing apart a FGT. What a waste of a beautiful car. :frown

My beloved Cubbies are 19.5 games out of the NL Central :frown. Maybe the anticipation for this car is what put Silva on the DL.
Paint scheme is reminiscent of another Ford.

Having had time to think about this, I recall the 'Concept' cars of my youth. They were usually 'way out there', but had recognizable names. Case in point, these Mustangs;

Chip is an extremelt talented guy who also had a hand in the design of the Ford GT..............

I was looking forward to seeing what he would have come up with for the FGT body, now it is going to be something different.

We all get to dream!

He may also be looking to establish himself as an independent design house to the carmakers like the Italian firms Italdesign Giugiaro, Pininfarina, etc...

My Dad brought the red Mach 2 home one night when I was a kid. It was cool!

With a fugly and way overused 2-tone paint Scheme and 22 inch pimpmobile chrome SUV wheels?

this went from something I was looking forward to... to something I am dreading HAHA

Sure it will be a great car when done but I am trying to figure out how to stick the FGT body on stuff not the other way around :biggrin

Look at the bright side, it will put a whole bunch of used body parts on the secondary market.
