$5,000 is including labor, no?
.

Well, Im not sure... I just found some prices online...

I found another one for 3,800, but that probably doesnt include labor. It couldnt be THAT hard to put these things on, could it?

Stormcat / Project 321's bumper delete kit is the cheapest, but you are still gonna have the frame rails that stick out.
If you are looking for a Complete Bumper delete kit to where your rear is totally smooth, you dont have much choice other than to spend alot as there is alot involved to acheive this.

If you do the install yourself and are OK using a hacksaw, a bumper delete couldn't cost too much. Just buy a new screen from the GT Guy, cut your bumper support rails, drill and tap them and install. Much of the cost is in new shorten rails.

Machine shops aren't too expensive. Do they sell just the screen?

The RBD kit is $3495. It comes with new frame horns so that you can keep your OEM ones. The kit also includes a new large screen without the notches for the frame horns to come through to support the bumper. Finally, the kit comes a fiberglass panel that replaces the upper screen. The kit is completely reversible as long as you keep all of what you removed from the car. You CAN install the RBD yourself if you have moderate mechanical skills.

Also, don't forget that you will most likely want a different exhaust.

I did mine my self. If you get the complete kit and look at it, you can appreciate the investment required. The replacement frame extensions, are exact bolt on's, the grill, is an OEM screen that more screen material is grafted in, and looks perfect. The filler trim fiberglass panel is well done too. There is no doubt, that if produced in greater volume, like 50k of them for mustangs they might cost less, but it is what it is, and one can not argue that it looks nice.
