I took the GT on a fun 153 mile drive near my home in NorCal. Hwy 20 & 49 were low on traffic & I stopped in the historic old town of Grass Valley for Chinese food to celebrate Chinese New Year. My new Speedhut gauges installed by Shadowman were perfect. I like them better than OEM as they look more retro & are bulletproof. I've gone through 5 OEM gauges. It was in the 60s & not a cloud in the sky. A great day.

I stopped on the way home to get a Valentine's Day present for the wife & when I came out a Gallardo Superleggera had parked next to me. I am not a sports fan but I went to watch the Kings play the Rockets after my drive. Jeremy Linn of the Rockets is Chinese-American so that rounded out my Chinese New Year Day.

Ed they look great. You have a higher redline and max mph than any FGT that I have seen!

I really like them!

My DA-Accufab engine has the redline at 7540rpm but the 240mph is just hopeful. I really only needed 220mph. Maybe I'll get a new Twin Turbo someday so I can use the 240mph!

Really really nice!

White / blue is a great color !!!

Looks like a fun day...which is pretty typical in a GT. Smart move on picking up a V-day gift for the spouse. Thanks for sharing all the cool pics.

Gong Hey Fat Choy, Ed.

The gauges look fantastic.

The hair coloring fooled you. :lol

Enjoy those Kings games while they last. Hard to believe they went from NBA hotspot that was always packed to the rafters to having 1 foot and about 4 toes out the door.

Gauges look great.

Ed,
They look great! That is what I need to do. How did you spec your gauges? I like that they look like the car came with them. Did you ask them to make them look as stock looking as possible?
Thanks,
Rick

They look Great.!! It sounds like it was a fun filled day : ) .. Have you tested out the shift lights ??

Great shots there Ed. Thanks for sharing!
New gauges look super.
I'm enjoying my new Speedhut gauge cluster as well.

Happy New Year's Ed!

Had a great extended family celebration with tons of food and red envelopes galore (to give out).

Love the gauges!

I used these specs on my gauges: black dial, white font, red pointer. Dial glows red & pointer glows red with lights on. Antique tick with Swiss font. Rev Silver bezel. Black panel. I have the shift light tach with a 7500rpm redline. 30psi boost. 240mph speedo. You can do almost anything when you custom order the gauges. $1233.75 with life time warranty. I felt this setup would match the retro feel of the GT (hey, I like the look of the Mac stereo head also for the retro feel).

I played with the shift lights all day. I posted a revised setup instruction under the Tech section for the shift lights. Very cool.

PS Happy New Year Syco 新年快乐

Ed,

Gauges look great. The weather was just as good this weekend up in Bodega Bay, Hiway 1 north of Jenner was nearly empty....wish you were their with us....unbelievable weather for this time of year.

Cheers (and Happy CNY),

George

You Californians have it made..............wait :wink
