Cars and Coffee - Seattle area

Oh contre' my friend ---you're up that early disabling the spiel checker on the Forum everyday. The ecconomy needs to have you buy a tank full of dinosaur juice once in a while.

btw - saw a red Tesla in the public area of the parking garage at Safco last nite. You would have hated it ....due to the road grime on it. :banana

'Odd. I saw a red Tesla here in town 2 wks ago...all shiney and clean...ready for delivery!

And just "for info", I prefer to pay for dinosaur juice by purchasing plane tickets to 'Vegas or ARIDzona. 'Far preferable to putting it in wunna my cars and fighting the traffic on I-5 (...or enny durn chunk of pavement these days for that matter :bored).

Lookin' for something to do after Cars N Coffee on Saturday?

I'm at a car show in Port Angeles but perhaps some of you may be interested. Ed

Weather may be good enough for this weekend

For you Lambo folks - saw this info on the 6 Speed on line web site

On Saturday, May 30, we will have one of the first new Lamborghini Murcielago LP670 SVs in the country at our event. This car is currently on tour around the US and will be paying us a brief visit. Also joining us that morning will be Manfred Fitzgerald, Director of Design and Branding for Lamborghini. It's Manfred's team that is responsible for their car designs and this is a rare opportunity to meet someone of his stature in the auto industry.

Immediately after our event at RTC, we will caravan up to the Barking Frog at Willow's Lodge in Woodinville for lunch. Manfred will give an informal talk about automobile design, the challenges and considerations and what it takes to bring an exotic to market. This will be a buffet lunch.

'Still say the NASTIEST color on an Enzo is black.

I can still "picture" the one I saw on Stetson in Scottsdale last year. 'Just outrageous! :willy:willy:willy

Ed you're spoiling our rainy weather reputation. Five C&C posts in a row with great weather comments. I believe Anya (Jim) may have his GT"S there.

BTW - saw the Red Devil yesterday. Waay to clean & shiny!! :thumbsup And way too few miles on it!:frown

I'm off to PDX this morning for the Portland Historics, and to hockey stick-land for their Historics next weekend, so C&C, for me at least, will have to wait.

Jeff - I think my friend (Ed Matsuishi) will also be a the Portland Historics.

I raced with him this last weekend, Same Race group. Very nice 911.

And we'll be in the same group in Portland (I think) this weekend. It's an HMSA event and they classify race groups somewhat differently than most other Vintage organizations.

I did the USRRC "Seniors Race" on Sunday. And followed Jon Shirley's 250 Testarossa for a few laps. Gawd what a beautiful sound- 12 Italian cylinders and open exhaust! This is the one your friend Phil drove and won at Le Mans.

No C&C for me. 'Will be in Abottsford, B.C. this weekend. :willy
