Candy red Shelby 2010 question

I read somewhere that the Candy red was only going to be available with Shelby GT500 2010 vehicles.

I am now seeing that color offered in regular GTs...does anyone have any info on this?
Does anyone know of any exclusive Shelby Colors?

and last but not least does anyone have a clear picture of what the candy red looks like (I did some google searches but the pics were not that good)?

Getting pics of any candy color that look as good as "real life" is just darn near impossible...

there is a candy red on the mustang for 10. i am not sure if it will be available on the gt500 though.

from the pictures it looks nothing like your candy red....

2010 Shelby GT500 exterior color, Torch Red only. Other colors, grabber blue, kona blue, black, performance white, silver and grey.............GO BLU

black stripes on the torch red will make it look like a deeper and darker red than it really is.

Thats info I'd like to know too. I'd like to get a GT 500 but couldn't find a Ford dealer that didn't want to rape and pillage over the '08s and '09s.

There are still those years sitting on dealer lots and no one to deal even at MSRP.

Same experience, these guys are in the twilight zone.One dealer wanted 70K

that Kona (dark Blue) looks reaaly good. :thumbsupStill cant get used the hood vents. Not a fan of the 07/08 either (and I do own one) but this is worse. Why didn't they use the 69 style of gt500 instead of this huge black river running cross wise through the hood???:thumbsdow

I'm with you 06 on the vents, and I, too, own an 07 GT500. My guess is that the hood vents need to be placed and designed to maximize airflow to the airbox location being up front and not over the carb like the old days....
