He is my favorite person in the world.
 
I subscribe to Car and Driver and Hot Rod. Car and Driver is mostly foreign leaning (BMW, Porsche) and Hot Rod seems to worship the ground GM walks on. The announcement of the Camaro was one sentence each inside the multi page articles of the 13 GT500. Ain't it a bitch.
 
I'm thinking the ZL1 will have to have an SC 5.5 liter (ZR1 intended) with 650 plus horses to compete and even then its a professional driver's best

As IT IS January here in Detroit, perhaps an indoor kart track? Or, the video simulator over at GM Tech in Warren. :rofl
 
The only place I race karts is Nurburgring!
 
I read that autoblog post also, and laughed, too funny.
 
I'm sure Al has performed many, many simulations, but nothing beats the real thing. I mean, I've hardly performed any simulations since I've been married. I hope his vision is ok.

I just figured out the simulations, where the Camaro is faster!!! Picture a split screen video game, The ZL-1 is on the left, the GT500 on the right, the ZL-1 WINS, one small detail, its 75 deg on the left and snowing on the right side of the screen......

Autoblog wouldn't even say what they ran in ZL1 at Firebird in Phoenix. They just said they ran "mid-12s at 114." :lol
 
Why is no one running the current cars offered? Is GM that scared to run the 12 GT500 v the ZL1 heads up?
 
That would be a cool video. Just have a 13 GT500 run against a 12 GT500. I'm sure SVT has some video stashed away somewhere.
