'Interesting read, Kayvan. So was the little side bar story, "The Outside Speaker Effective Analysis Group". That spoke volumes all by itself.

I read his other book

Said he had many corporate enemies; largely b/c he always had the
Best looking wives, sharpest suits, and nicest cars (!)

Regardless of his chosen career, doesn't any sucessful person who's blessed with the afore mentioned also have his own "enemies" as well (well, bad mouthers' anyway) whether deserved or not? 'Just seems to go with the territory.

Agreed, even the nicest guy in the room has enemies. People aren't always judged on their success by how much money they have either, sometimes they are judged by how many or the quality of friends they have.... and even that guy.... has enemies...... oh well ;)

Enemies is such a harsh word. I prefer to call the ASSociates.

I am fortunate enough to call Bob a friend . He recently sent me a pre sale copy of his new book. It will come out later this month and is a great read . I am trying to talk him into a pure car book about the cars he owns and the cars he has had a hand in producing. He has kind enough to sell me his personal 1992 Viper which because he was the father of Viper and President of the company is VIN 00002. (Iaccoca has 0001)

And, yes he is a snappy dresser and has a beautiful and very nice wife. He is 25 years older than I and looks younger than I.

I met him at Oshkosh years ago. He also has two bitchin' airplanes and is a hell of a pilot.

And a fun copter I have been in with him at the controls touring Auburn Hills.

Gino!! How'd you guess :)

A nice review of Lutz's "Car Guys vs Bean Counters" in the latest AutoWeek. (July 25, 2011, page 9)

His latest book ought to be mandatory reading in every college's business, finance, ethics, and poli sci class in the country. Not that it would do any good though...

He should run for President!

Car collectors get tax deductions on every purchase!
