Birthday Announcements ??

While yes I know I'm older than probably 80% of the members on this forum, does anyone else NOT see the need for birthday announcements? I know it's been a staple on the forum for years but just kinda wondering if I'm alone on this or does everyone truly enjoy reading about other member's birthdays? Maybe it's just my age and probably is. just curious on anyone's thoughts. maybe I'm just a crabby old fart! JMHO

I'm glad I got my birthday in today. LOL

Buy the way I have way more Birthday Wishes of Facebook. LOL.

I feel that it's not a biggie, it's fun to get recognized, but not a big deal if it blows over with no recognition. A couple of years ago I forgot and thanked everyone for their recognition two weeks post Birthday.

I enjoy saying happy birthday to the people I know personally. I check the birthdays late at night and I do it voluntarily. Nothing is mandatory and you don't need to read them.

I think it's what makes this form special is the personal connection we have with the people. I've been working late so I missed your birthday I'm sorry..

I guess if you don't want any well-wishing I guess that includes Christmas, national holidays Etc. I think we're going to nickname you Grinch. .:biggrin
