Poor devil. I've got exactly the same one. Take care of it. They are wonderful dogs

clarify: in Soho washed in hood, means owner went out for a Stella Artois and tied him outside

I hate Stella Artois. Same as drinking horse piss. Now I need to feel sorry for the owner :) Aren't you pulling my leg here?

Might have been Duvel bier...

And this is one of my boys. First picture when he's sleeping and second one when he's more active. He openend his eyes

He is handsome! Look at those paws

At Monaco GP, police had these

IMG_7677.jpgBordeau dog as police dog????? You have to be joking. He's so lazy and coward. Some thieves broke in and he wet the hole house. As guard dog the best one to have is the Mechelse shepard. That's what the police in Belgium-Holland-Germany prefers. They are extremely clever and attack immediately and nobody enters my property uninvited. I wanted a third one a south African Boerboel but the girlfriend is against it.

My 2 guard dogs, ready to attack !
The orthopedic bed is to keep them limber so they are ready to leap ...

Nice pooches!

The Boerboel are like Mastiff x2...their heads are huge

ahah ... you haven't seen my head yet :)

The boerboel is a very special dog to protect the family against intruders animals. It was used to protect the farms in south Africa. Read about it... it's got belgian roots.

See the Dog Wisperer TV show.. he tamed a Boerboel once...

Well here is my dog practicing his Tai Chi. He's been known to chat it up with the pool guy. Had a Weimaraner that was an excellent guard dog. I taught him to go out and get the news paper for a treat, but one time I left him out for about 15 minutes and when I came out there were about a dozen papers waiting.

I bet your neighbors were thrilled.

Not really. I stood there for a moment trying think what to do, but only came up with putting them all on the side walk. He had a worse habit of checking all the females out who came over. I'm not sure if they approved or not, but he was one lucky dog. John

BTW. The dog in the pic is gay and barks with lisp so go figure.

I wish I had a lazy dog. She is a 4 month old German Shorthair.

The only time my dog is slow enough to take a picture is when she is asleep.

The dog is the only thing with enough energy to wear out my kids.

Single best dog I ever had was a German Shorthair. "Jake"

Average lifespan of a GSH is 10-12 years, keep his teeth clean and gum tissue healthy and you will increase the lifespan 50%. That goes for all dogs. Jake lived to be 16.

This is my second GSP. It took me 10 years to be able to get another. I appreciate the advice on her teeth, thx.

I know want you mean. Jake died in 97'. I have had 6 dogs since and no GSH......I just can't do it. But I know they are unreal dogs.

BTW I don't hunt but if you want a great bird dog....

BTW, The best Veterinarian I ever went to told me about the gum disease connection.
