Backup camera solution, only $80!

Just take off the 4 screws on the back of the display. Open it and look at the jack that the power plugs into. There will be 3 pads next the the retangular jack. The 2 on the sides are ground, the one on the end is +12. After you cut the input cord and strip the ends. You will see one red and one black wire. Use an ohm meter plug the input cord into the display and use the ohm meter to trace the wires to verify which pads to use. You will need a soldering iron with a 1 to 1.5mm tip. I sawed the power plug at an angle to give the display a little tilt towards the driver. It cut was made just a little longer than where the screw holds the 2 halves together. I then removed the led and resistor from the plug and soldered new wires directely from the power plug through holes I drilled into the back of the case to the pads.

Unfortunately not. AV input only. It also has USB power output. (power only).

My guess is they mean it is normal, for a low end, $80 product to use less than 100% LCD displays. I didn't look to carefully for deal pixels, but I think for the money it works great.
