Hi guys,

I have the Kenny Bell SC nose peice and everything is great except a slight sepage from the mounting face. The sealer was checked and done right then we removed it and tried the stock sealer (including a few calls). No luck still drips. My installer called KB and as soon as they found out we bought it and the TB from Accufab they stopped and said we had to call them. Well after many calls and no help or replies we called several times left messages and have resorted to faxing KB 3 times and still no call backs. I have been patient for 3 months but even my fuse is getting short and I have a very long one.

So I thought maybe someone has a better conection.

( Attention Vince )

Vince is very helpful and definetely gets results. I have emailed him requests to call me and he does usually within the day. Also its usually best to phone either phone number at 9 - 10 am Calli time and usually get him right away.

Terry :thumbsup

Just try John at Accufab. He should make it right. I would think they would. I believe they make them for Bell.

Or if Vince is no help, call and ask for Jim Bell directly. If you are still frustrated PM me.

Jim Bell is my neighbor in Havasu, I talked to him last Saturday. I can call him tomorrow and let him know. If you can PM me any specific or relevant information such as date, time and brief description, I'll be more than happy to help.

Sam

I know both Jim Bell and Ken Christley from KB personally, as well as John from Accufab.

Let me know if I can assist you.

Thank you all so much.
Today out of the blue Accufab called Lidio @ Alternative Perfomance and said they are building up a replacement. He was shocked and tried to get them to send it so he canswap it out and not have to return mine B/4 they ship as it would tie up the car for to long.

Now we sit back and hope for the best.

If one or all of you helped I am extreemly thankful as it was 70 in michigan and I really wanted to take the "Gal" out.:thumbsup

Glad things are working out. These guys really want to do the right thing. Both John and Jim are stand up guys.

Finally no leak

Well guys here is the rest of the story.

After all our hard work and several tear down inspections calls to the factory and KB shipping us a housing we still had a slow leak and I could not go far as I worried if the oil leaked out of the SC well that would not be pretty......

So just as the snow in michigan began to fly KB sent Alternative Auto a new and different seal design. This weekend was the first real nice day since last fall and out she went. Today Lidio delivered the GT back to me and no leaks.

Now its time to put some miles on her.......:banana

Although I am not a GT owner, (have one in the family) I am amazed at what this forum has done for all of the owners. I can only hope that when I purchase my 40k mile GT in 2012 , this site is still going. You guys are great. :cheers

I also have the KB snout and pulleys, I have been hesitant to install because I have heard they all leak, has anyone had a positive install of this item with no leaks?

Kb Snout

I have one on my 06 GT for about 6 months and have NO problems !!!:thumbsup

Why go with the kenny bell snout? Same as just a 18psi pulley and tune right? 652rwhp with pulley and tune. Are guys with the kenny bell getting more?

My KB snout has a very slight leak as well installed last year by MMP. I have been waiting to see how they (KB) propose to fix the problem. Sounds like they have a solution.

Loan,

KB sent a new round seal for the snout. It appears to be working. All the other attempts failed within the first 20 minutes of running. This one has a few hours and is as dry as a bone.

It is a much strong blower snout with great bearing and looks great as well.

So if you get the new seal which they sent us durring the winter you should be good to go.

Tom

Accufab install a KB Snout on my car and I had it for about a year, it never leaked.

These links help explain the reasons why: Looks, reliability and no pressing on and off of the drive pulley (4 sizes available):thumbsup
