I know I saw those surfing the web somewhere but forgot where. Nice to see it again. would love to buy one.. Do you read or understand whatever that language is??????

If you go to Aviatex's home page, you can chose to have it in English. There are old posts on this. These watches are very expensive, in excess of $5K if I remember right. This is a helicopter company that makes watches if I remember right. You can't order direct, and you have to go to like Monaco to see and buy.

It's Italian (my favorite language), though Dr. Pikul is correct, you can view it in English from:

www.aviatex.ch

I could not get a REPLY from anyone including the dealer in Monaco :bs :thumbsdow :bs

I have one of these Aviatex Almex Technology watches. the company is not a helicopter manufacturer but a small Swiss watch maker that was selected by Ford of Switzerland to make a very high quality watch for GT owners. I bought my watch through Roush in the UK. They are about $6K and very good quality. I really like mine. I believe you can purchase them directly from the company. I met the company's owner and have his contact information. If you want to contact him please PM me and I can provide an introduction for you.

watches available in America next month...

I just got a call from Switzerland this morning in Italian & it took 2 calls before I could figure out who it was. :lol In short, they have a limited supply (101) & have given them to the GT owners in Switzerland. However, they will have them available to any GT owner interested. I have a .pdf file that I can't attach. It's got a bit more info on the watches. If you're interested send me an e-mail & I'll forward you the .pdf file. Then if you're interested in buying one, you can call or e-mail Andre.

Price is in US dollars ($6,500 w/carbon strap & $9,400 w/superalloy strap).

André Grossmann is the managing director & the guy to speak with. He speaks English as well as Italian & has been helpful in talking with me.

Ah, how time flies.

small watch maker

Hi

Rob is right.

Aviatex made a watch for eurocopter and for the swiss GT customers.

To buy these watches, contact directly André Grossmann.

He is looking for a Retail network in the United States. Who can help him?
As men are proud of their GT cars, also in the United States, men would be proud of their aviatex GT edition watch.

Greetings

Chris,

I've posted the information below on another thread but in the interest of full disclosure I thought I'd post it here as well:

I have the Aviatex watch, red with white stripes. I really like it however I'm concerned about the company standing behind the warrantee. I met André in Le Mans this summer at the Roush sponsored GT event and he suggested I contact him about something we discussed related to my watch. He gave me his business card and I've since sent him two e-mail messages since July. He has not replied. I'm not sure how useful a ten year warrantee is (although I was told the warrantee is two years) when the company's CEO tells a customer to contact him and then doesn't respond to this customer inquiry. I now don't know who to contact at the company.

I’ll continue to post notes on this thread to keep all informed of my on-going dealings with Aviatex however, given my experience, if someone is considering the purchase of this $7K watch I’d be very concerned about the company standing behind it.

Thanks Rob, I was getting close to pulling the plug - I'll wait and see...
