Happen to notice on a video of the blue NFGT in Europe, firstly how La Ferrari-esque the mirror-pods-on-a-stick look...CaptureA.jpg

and secondly how they disappear as you drive up the trailer ramps...

So, seriously, should we expect them to be easily removable, or maybe motor driven retractable for trailering?

Breakaways!

They do look good on the stick, don't they?

Production car mirrors are same basic style but slightly different. You'll see them shortly.

Ya, but do they fold away or are they push button release for convenient stowage in the glove box?

Why would you need mirrors? No one will be passing you. ;)

Looking forward to the times when we have cameras in back plus one on each door ...

'Darned good question.

If one looks closely at the lower photo, the door looks completely devoid of any 'attachment point/fixture' whatsoever...except for what appears to be a darkish spot in the area at the base of the window were the mirror seems to be attached in the upper photo. That could be an attachment bracket, I suppose.

Admittedly, the angle/distance at which the photo was taken (and the photo's clarity...or lack thereof) isn't the best for 'sleuthing'...
