Watched the ALMS race at Elkhart this weekend. Wasn't at least 1 FGT running? I thought the TV coverage was an example of incredibly inept marketing. Unless you're really on the fence about whether your next purchase will be an LMP prototype, forget about seeing a car that you have any interest in. Endless minutes of the race leader LMP, an occasionall glimpse of the 'Vettes and GT3's being passed by the protos, and not a mention of who else is even running in the 'lesser' classes, much less a photo of them. (Yes I saw the Mcar and the red F)
Wouldn't the sponsors want to keep real world users at least interested in seeing a car they actually might see or know of?
