I find it interesting that whomever restored the car, whether it was Sir Anthony Bamford or Harley Cluxton, put the
2nd gas filler cap back onto the left side. LeMans rules stipulated only the single fill nozzle, so the 2nd caps were removed and a transfer tube was installed, eliminating the LH fuel cap. Cluxton still has the 1 remaining Mirage (and will happily build a replica for you for $500Large and up), which, as in the other two Mirages, only had the right side fuel cap.
