3M Clear Bra on Heritage

[HHGT]

For those of you who opted for a 3M Clear Bra on your Heritage, did you go over the black pin strip that separates the blue/Orange.

BTW is the black pin stripe paint or tape? If tape, will the removal of the 3M Clear bra remove the tape in the process?

The stripe is tape and it will come off when the rock gaurd is removed. The bond between the tape and the paint is weaker than the bond between the paint and the metal.

Not 4N is correct.
That is the main reason I opted to put on a Bra.
My suggestion is, with the Heritage - Go For The Bra.
Just my 2 cents worth.

As for the stripe, yes it's vinyl, it will probably come off, but in 5 years all the stripes will need new $5 K-Mart vinyl anyway.

I had it done by the same guy that did the Red/Wht. He took his time to cut 1/8" gap on both sides of the vinyl tape. It came out better than expected. This guy is a surgeon.

Back to the bras, real men enjoy removing a bra, try that with your 3m stuff :biggrin :banana :biggrin Spirit, Dr. Frank, Awsum and me can pop that bra off with one hand behind our back... then the fun starts :banana :willy :banana

My favorite is removing the mirror "bras," something so smooth and round about those mirrors.
