Some of the same cars as I saw at SEMA but your photos are very nice compared to mine! It makes the cars & models even better looking! Great work Syco!

:agree:

(I don't believe Randy could take a substandard photo even if he used a cell phone.)

Nice work Randy!

Randy, what was the significance of the Lincoln vert being there? Is Lincoln up to something with a new version coming out(Let's hope?!?!)?

Holy cow Randy! I am envious of how well you take photographs. Rad shots and the 904 Carrera GTS shot is bellissimo! Then again so it the AMG Mercedes and the Daytona and the ... ... ...

Did you by any chance take some shots of Liz Taylor's '56 Lincoln Cont. MKII???

I'm heading over Sat!

First time too

Pics

Great shots...

Thanks much everyone - always appreciate the feedback! These are directly from my camera (D700) without edits beyond the one B&W conversion and adding the logo/border to all.

I try to work fast, but also make all my adjustments in camera, just like we used to do with 35mm film cameras.

I didn't bring a flash or tripod, so the lighting on the models is less than ideal, but I tried to work with the weird interior lighting.

Why yes, I believe I did. Now the plate makes sense to me. Heheh. Ignorant me was thinking it was a nickname of sorts for the vehicle.

The blonde has that 'you-stood-me-up-and-you're-about-to-get-an-ear-full' look in her eye, Randy!

What the heck did you do?!

THAT is one gorgous car. (The color - a custom order - supposedly "matched her eyes".)

I really like the '56-'57 MKIIs...a lot.

Haha. She had that intense look the whole time, like she'd had enough of waiting around. I did see her waiting around. I like to try to capture people's personalities or demeanors - not by surprise mind you, but not necessarily out to get every picture posed and chipper. Not necessarily a favorite photo of the morning, but I found the unexpected intensity interesting and thought I'd see what people thought. Thanks for the comments!

Me too, Pockets. Those were incredible cars for their era, and still gorgeous today. There's a fellow around Oak Brook, IL who as had about a dozen of these Continentals. He "refreshes" them, cherishes them, and trades one every once in a while. A timeless design.

Thanks Randy. Great pictures as always.
I'm heading there Monday morning.
What was the most impressive new model (car!) you saw??

I found myself liking the Bentley Continental GT3 for the new models.
