I drove a 1994 Dodge Viper some years back through the Valley of Fire in Nevada and the surrounding hills. It was a fun ride, and I was wondering what changed between the 1994 and 1998 models other than airbags. When I drove the 1994, the interior was pretty hot. There was a decent amount of heat coming off of the center console and rear engine area and it heated up my legs. Is the 1998 the same way? Is the suspension the same too?

A quick exhaust swap takes care of that. Also the GTS have rear exit exhaust which helps also

I think I read somewhere that the heat build up in the interior is from the cats. Some high flow cats, and it's all gone :confused

I have a 1997 GTS and I removed the cats. Car still passes emissions inspection and the interior is always cool and comfortable. PD
