Have this nice 69 big block up for sale. Car is very original except for a repaint in correct Cortez silver. Radio internals upgraded with iPod hookup. Pertronix pointless ignition. Runs like a rocket. AC, power windows, power steering. Fiber optics all work. Highly optioned car.
I have all the documents back to day one including tank sticker and another build sheet. Protecto-plate, original bill of sale.
Matching numbers. Date codes all correct for any NCRS anoraks. Original T-top and matching bags with correct date codes.
Engine bay is unmolested.
49K orig miles.

$47500 OBO

The first picture should be in a calendar or on a magazine cover. Beautiful!

Nice looking rig. Love the silver. Had a Daytona Yellow one years ago.

I love this generation Vette and in 2009 I started shopping for a 427/435 example. Found this one, it looked great and owner offered to let me drive it after he took me on a test drive. He pulled out of his driveway floored it went into a curve power-shifted into second lost control took down a mailbox and a tree and stopped on a telephone pole less than a block away. We both got out OK but after that ride I decided to to buy 57 Bird instead:willy

Oh, my! How unfortunate, but yet so lucky you both weren’t seriously injured. Can’t imagine how embarrassed and regretful that owner was!

Good God! Steering wheels didn't give much back then. You guys are very lucky. That's definitely a tri-power 435, looking at the air cleaner.

Very lucky indeed! Whenever you go through something like that you realize how quick your life can change. He told the cops the accelerator stuck and they told him that's what happens when your foot is nailed to the floor! On top of that he was a car insurance agent, hope they cancelled him.:thumbsdow

Holy crap!

Cold, skinny BFG T/A's and all that torque, not a great combination. Add a passenger to the mix and it is hard to be empathetic.
