I spoke with Paul from the Motorsport Collector and he's predicting they'll arrive at his shop in 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, they're on the slow boat from Hong Kong, so places closer to there have already received some, but the shipment to America is en route.

Mine arrived from Italy. Vendor was Mondo. They did a nice job of keeping me updated on the order, shipping and delivery. Well wrapped in bubble wrap inside the outer box.

Finally! Good news, Randy! Think many of us ordered these late last year. Hopefully will get mine in the next few days as well.

For those who pre-ordered from The Motorsport Collector, I've been told they will be arriving to their shop NEXT WEEK!

I'm not overwhelmed by the Top Speed model. Not disappointed, but not super thrilled either. Somewhere in between.

I am glad to have my first model of the new Ford GT though, in any size or make.

In the sake of clarity, I ordered my Top Speed from eBay, but from a different vendor, Mondo Model Cars (based in Italy). It arrived in the USA, in about six days, which was pretty impressive. Hope that you all get yours soon, that seems to be a really long time to wait.

For ~$135, it's probably about in line with others of about that price range. Higher end models like AutoArt and Kyosho are now in the $200-300 range.

Mine should be here any day now, but the one thing I've noticed is the intercooler grilles in front of the rear wheels don't look very well executed.

Mine has arrived! Overall, I'd say I'm impressed.

The Good:
The paint is very nice and looks like a great representation of Liquid Blue. The carbon fiber portions display nicely. The model is on a black lacquered base, and the whole thing is quite heavy. Much moreso than, say, a comparable AutoArt - although I suspect the majority of the weight is in the base. There are lots of nice details here, such as the head and tail lights, the mirrors and the interior looks very nice, too, even if it'd difficult to see. Scale and proportions seem spot on, the packaging was adequate, although the box is quite big for a 1/18 model. The mirrors are attached :p

The Bad:
A few small areas could be finished more nicely (you can see small bits of glue around where the mirrors attach and in some other areas. There are no opening parts, not even the wheels turn or steer, so if you hope to see inside, you're out of luck. Some of the details, such as the grilles in the front air extractors, in front of the intercoolers and inside the tail lights are maybe not quite to scale, as far as the size of the pattern. Also, thy are just solid plastic, not actual flow-through grilles. Also, the rear wing doesn't sit quite flush with the rest of the bodywork.

Overall:
A great first Ford GT model. Definitely a good buy at $135 considering what AutoArt/Kyosho/etc. are charging $250+ for these days.

Some photos are flash on to capture the details, some are off for a more natural look.

Looks great for first model.

Rear light could be improved, the grille pattern looks odd.

Let's see what other models will come to market in the next months. Good times for fellow GT enthusiasts for sure. Have postponed delivery of my unit after Le Mans

I have a sneaking suspicion that all areas using grilles are using the same exact pattern, just cut in different shapes for different parts of the car. This wouldn't normally be a problem, but it looks like the "holes" throughout the design are probably too big for the scale. It doesn't look bad, it just looks a little bit "off"...
