Your friend does immaculate work; the detail / correctness of it were amazing; down to the yellow-cad plating of all the clamps, brackets, fasteners. There was another Boxer (Red/Blk); but all the hoses, clamps, crackle finish was off; the Green was concourse / FCA Cavallino quality.

Not related; but Letting your windshield wiper snap hard against windshield is a risk too. Buddy’s Ferrari’s had garage attendant slip monthly bill under his wiper and let it snap hard / cracking it (twice). Denied it of course.

Concur on cables. Do a search on "Shift Cable" or "Shifter Cables"; many posts will show up and offer visual / mechanical tests to rule out issues (v. taking center tunnel out, etc). Make sure your shifter is correctly aligned; there is a special tool...
