Hard to believe but it was ten years ago today that took delivery. Still amazed every time I get behind the wheel!

Some GTs in 2005 were built radio delete. Some in 2006 were built only with the base unit or non macs. No choice for ordering customers. Why? Answer these two questions and post two more to keep the challenge going. Just for fun.

Buying floor mats for GT and parts man asked for VIN stating Ford requires it now on this car. Anyone else get that yet?

I saw someone else's post on sticker placement and in the course of finding pictures for them I came up with a question. The windshield sticker has two numbers on it, for example "J1-0958" and I understand that is part of the VIN( last four digits) There is another set of numbers and letters...

For those of you fortunate enough to get to go to the Rally V, keep an eye out for the little Aerial atom made there at the VIR complex. In many ways they are like little GTs without a body to slow them down. Ya'll have fun.

A couple of interesting questions where asked of Ford GT chief engineer, Fred Goodnow at the SVT engineer's program at Ford Carlisle this weekend. The first, "If Alan Mulally asked you to, could you produce a new Ford GT?" and the second, "Was the V8 the only engine considered for the GT?"...

I just checked our KR ordered back in March. Parts delay has held up production and since our car is higher VIN number probably will not be here until November. Was told they expect to start production within thirty days and then it will be 75 cars produced per week. They are storing 150 cars...

Okay folks, here is what I was able to find out today. First, understand that I don't know anybody special, don't have any special ins with anyone at Ford, and Piccola has labeled me and my GTs as "just plain old stock". With that in mind, please know that everyone can get this fix done now...

Piccola and I were just discussing "mods" to an already near perfect car. She has declared that GTs without mods are "normal" not stock.
