I believe this car was bought in southern Alberta, Canada along with a red and blue GT and a whole bunch more cars and trucks from a private collection. The purchaser then sold all the cars individually. They sold the red GT at Barrett Jackson Las Vegas last fall.

Gauge failure is on all gt models. All control arms on early cars were replaced with billet which I personally think are cool to have?

They are well known for high quality restorations. Specialize in Shelby mustangs and Cobras. They do good work. Use to like Peter Klutts old show "Dream Car Garage" a few years back.

You need to trim quite a bit on the tach ring but not to wreck the integrity of the ring. You will probably need to trim a few of the smaller rings as well to clear the odometer and idiot light unit. Checked out Expel at SEMA last November. Quite nice product. The new Expel product self heals if it is scratched. They actually rubbed it with sandpaper and then poured hot water over it and it corrects itself and looked as good as new!!

Well Gauges are in! Heres a few picts. Took about 2-3 hours and no big issues. Very happy with Speed Hut! Did a great job.

Well my new Speed Hut Gauges arrived and they do a great job building these things! Now if I can get them installed with minimal swearing?

I think Ford is making a great effort to get the company back on track. Some great product being produced in last few years. BUT! A Ford Customer Product Representative assured me recently that they have no record of any Gauge problems!! I must be the only one?

Let the car run and charge up battery. Then turn off and restart and they may come back. If not welcome to the guage failure club!
