    HELP!!!!!!!!

In a few weeks I’m running the Big Bend Open Road Race again in my GT500. It needs an oil and filter change before the race and it seems like the entire country has the filters on back-order with restocking dates unknown. The model is Ford FL 2087. Anyone out there got one?

    1093-MILE 2006 GT FOR SALE

So, I have a 2006 Black and silver GT with 1093 miles for sale. The car is essentially new, still has plastic on the inside, Goodyear tyres, no hot buttons etc. It is bone stock and came out of a private collection. As some of you know, I got this car as part trade when I sold my new GT. I don't...

    NEW BOOK BY STEVE NESTA

Many of you know Steve - he was the photographer who documented the GT privateer racing programmes back in 2010-11, covering all the way up to the Matech Le Mans run led by the now sadly demised Martin Bartek. Well, Back in the day he put together an incredible set of volumes that covered every...

    Who knew

So, finally got round to fixing the bum passenger side turn signal and while I was in there I wanted to replace the broken front side marker lamp assembly. Who knew, this item is from a 2003 Land Rover Freelander! BTW, pulling the fender liner out was just as horrible the second time around as...

    THE VIRAL PRESIDENT

For all the book readers in the Forum, I've just published a satirical novel about the pandemic, politics, and media's influence on our lives. It's now available through all the usual sites, or direct from Archway Publishing's website. I submitted the manuscript at the end of June and it's been...

    Le MANs 2020

Talking with Project 100 yesterday about the IOM TT trip next year and they asked if any forum members will be going to Le Mans in 2020. I noted that, given this year’s DQ fiasco, I certainly will never go again, but if anyone is planning to attend, Project100 would love to help. I have no skin...

    69 DAN GURNEY BOSS TRIBUTE

Earlier this year, my long-time friend Jim Reiss died after a short battle with cancer. Jim was a true gearhead, and in the years leading up to his death he built a balls-on accurate replica of Dany Gurney's Trans-Am Boss Mustang. He was totally anal about the build, charting progress via...

    27 LITRES....

We just spent fun times with Chip, Peggy, and Charley over Thanksgiving. One of the days, they visited our house so that Chip could see my latest build project. Chip has now badgered me sufficiently and talked me into starting this thread that shows the build history of my Roll Royce...

ISLE OF MAN TT - 2020

I've been working with Project 100 to put together a trip to next year's TT. They've now sent me a proposal with options and pricing. I know some of you have already expressed interest, but if you can pm me with preferred email address, I'll put together a group message and send the proposal...

    Duplicate photos

When I make a post and add a picture, there is the option of thumbnail or fullsize. I like full size but when I click that I end up with duplicate pictures being attached. This is when using an Ipad. Any suggestions to avoid duplication?

2019 BIG BEND OPEN ROAD RACE

Just completed my 5th BBORR, this time in the new GT. As always, it was a great week with good friends and lots of fun. A couple of other forum members either participated or came to watch - Ben Beckert ran his first BBORR, and Donny Mac showed up to hang out. We arrived Tuesday evening after...

    OLD MEETS NEW

Got under the GT today to check the source of a belly pan buzz that comes and goes, and couldn’t resist taking this picture of my current favorite vehicle and my current project car. Regarding the buzz, there are numerous nooks and crannies throughout the underside of the car that can hold...

    THREE DAYS AT COTA

Just got back from the MVP session at COTA, which I thought was Mark’s best yet. I’m still digesting a lot of stuff but here’s my initial takeaway: The car ran flawlessly. I calculated that the weekend totaled-out at about 300 miles on track, all in track mode, all balls to the wall; the car...

    RADAR DETECTOR POWER SOURCE

So, I bought a Radenso detector and plan to use a mirror mount. Just behind the mirror is the overhead interior light console which looks like the perfecr place for a power source. Has anyone taken the console off? Any tips?

    LET ME BE PERFECTLY CLEAR....

Had several people at Daytona ask me how my ‘Carbon Edition’ is doing. Well, as far as I’m concerned, my car is a ‘Lightweight’ and I’ve got proof! Interior swatch and Ford Ordering receipt attached. No idea when it morphed into the new name, mine was the first delivered so maybe it’s the only...

Well, after a two year wait, K029, the first production Lightweight/ Carbon Series arrived to join its 06 brother in Houston.
