    Rear Pan Bolt and Washer

In what might be the most inconsequential post ever, I’m looking for one (1) bolt and washer that holds the rear belly pan on. I’ve just completed a complete service on the car and have either lost or maybe never had one of the bolts. I don’t think this is a Menards item due to the star bit...

    FEAD belt diagram.

I’m in the middle of my belt project. Supercharger belt installed with no issue. Does anyone have a diagram of the FEAD belt arrangement? Just want to make sure I get the routing right.

    Oil Pump Belt

I’ve been waiting all summer on Continental Y-720 belt for my 05’ GT. It seems these continue to be back ordered. Is the an alternative belt in Motorcraft or otherwise I could search for?

    Fuel Filter disconnect

Another newbie or first timer question. I’m trying to disconnect the fuel filter. I bought both a 1/2” and 3/8” plastic disconnect tool and I can’t seem to get it to release. Are there any tips to separate the line from the filter. Very frustrated.

    Clutch Fluid Change

Sorry for the newbie question. My first time and the cars first time for fluid flush. I’m starting with the clutch and Motorcraft 5.1 fluid. Here is my question. The shop manual refers to 2 bleeder screws. I can see the one at the transmission but I’m. It seeing the “bulkhead” mounted bleeder...

Transaxle fluid (still recommending Motorcraft XT-75w90-QGT?) Engine and Intercooler coolant (I’m planning on the...

    Build Books

Sorry if this question has been asked and answered but I was just reading that a “build book” was created documenting the process of build for each Ford GT. These books were reportedly put into storage. Has Ford ever made these books available to owners? What a keepsake that would be to...

Air Filter Replacement - Part 2 (AKA 2,700 miles doesn't mean "new" on a 15 year old car)

Now I understand all the messages about low mileage / "new" 15 year old cars requiring some maintenance. My 05' GT which I purchased from 2nd owner in July with only 2,700 miles. Planned a simple air filter replacement on Sunday and ran in to this mouse house. No telling when this happened...

    Air filter change

Probably a dumb question from a new owner but I have not found on the forum. I just completed my oil change successfully and now want to change the air filter. Is it located in the box between the engine and rear of car? Any trick to getting it out?

    New Owner Three Rivers, MI

Thanks for adding me to the group. Just purchased my dream 05’ FGT in July. 3 options (std wheels) and 2,700 miles. I’ve wanted one of these since I was running Eatons supercharger business and we supplied Ford with the Lysholm superchargers for the GT program. Loving the car. Have completed the...
