    Passengers on track?

AZSTAD - Thanks for the compliments - overstated for certain but thanks... the check is the mail :cheers JBG- I don't know if the rules are the same this year or not... I did get to do some instruction last year in Vegas, and I really enjoyed it. Considering the shortage of instructors last...

Need to protect the wheel when using tie downs

Guys, I'm looking for something more convenient than a microfiber or terry cloth towel to protect the GT's wheels when strapping it down in the trailer... (I run the strap through the wheel). I'd rather not have something custom made! Anyone know who sells such a thing?

    Interior blower motor squeak!

That is one of the fixes google dug up for me! According to the thread it worked and has continued to work with no issues! I'd hate to do that though, it needs to be repaired (or dampened) properly. Has anyone had the motor and fan out? I'm curious if it's as involved as it looks. :confused

    Interior blower motor squeak!

There are no vents, at least that I could see or feel around the can, there is a small portion of the motor I wasn't able to wrap so there could be a vent there.... but I doubt it. I certainly wouldn't want it "forever quiet" :lol

    Interior blower motor squeak!

Well.... The celebration was short lived. :frown The squeak is back! However, only about 15% of what it was.

    Interior blower motor squeak!

Finally emailed Vintage Air, this was the suggestion; "The blower wheel may have shifted on the shaft and is rubbing the outer housing. You may be able to take the motor and wheel out and re-position the wheel on the shaft. Make sure you inspect the wheel to make sure it isn't cracked causing...

Brake Fluid Replacement and Bleeding Required for Track Day?

No special tools required, the change can be done in the "traditional" way by asking an assistant to depress & release the brake pedal while you open/close the bleeder on the caliper (there are two on each caliper btw). I would suggest changing the clutch fluid also, I had some black flecks in...

    Tire warning

One thing to keep in mind when choosing a tire is how much garbage it will pick up off the road and hurl at the side of the car. I would seriously consider the Stillen splash guards with oe tires, & they're mandatory in my opinion with anything sticky! Also, I have not used the Hoosiers on...

Warping of rear clam shell "Black Lip"

Thats a new one for me Shane! I'm surprised and a little disappointed I didn't notice it. What does the part itself look like? Anyone have a photo, detached from the rear of course... Should be relativley easy to make an aluminum (or Titanium :biggrin) replacement.

    Heal-toe help

I finally got a chance to stick my head in the foot box today to see what could be done about the relationship of the brake and throttle peddles. I'm not comfortable trying to bend the brake peddle closer to the throttle and it wouldn't gain and decrease in the fore/aft offset. I think a new...

    XM, Sirius antenna install

Mike, I ran the antenna up under the dash, it will "see" through the dash and glass just fine. I used double sided foam tape to secure it.
