Mine is scheduled to be installed next week on my Boss. Drove the cars at Boss Track Attack last week and they all had the Track key installed. I was pretty impressed with it on throttle response and idle. I also appreciate that it turns off radio. Wish the GT had same key.

Thanks for all the input. I might as well confess before my Ford man gets on here and rats me out. We are not taking the GT but the F150. We were going to take the little Honda Element but I was afraid a picture would get posted here about that. Anyway, looking forward to the trip with my boy...

Thanks! Cherahola is on our list too. My Ford salesman is biker and keeps telling me about it. We are loaded up the GT and headed that way.

I have the books for both our cars and it is not so much useful info as it is just documentation of the process. They would not let me have them while at SSV but it was put under the seat for me to find at delivery on the Heritage (which we watched built). The one for the red car is a copy and...

Specracer, We drive up from Florida every year and usually stay at one of the Holiday Inns there. Lance can give you better hotel/lodging advice than I can. There is a fairly nice one of the Marriott chains there as well. I think it is residence Inn. This year there is a Friday night cruise...

I agree. I have both and the one John made is 100 times better looking. The original looks like the old folding aluminum lawn furniture while John's looks like something you would actually have INSIDE the house. KO

Thanks for the info everyone. Yes we did get a VIN assigned long before we went up there. My son actually got to fire the etching machine to engrave the VIN on the rear underside frame member. That was one of those GREAT days!

I saw someone else's post on sticker placement and in the course of finding pictures for them I came up with a question. The windshield sticker has two numbers on it, for example "J1-0958" and I understand that is part of the VIN( last four digits) There is another set of numbers and letters...
