    Is two years too long?

so who agrees with Fubar? one can look at the color and rub the dipstick oil 'tween your 60year old fingers and assess the status of the oil?? I, for one say yes!! If it still has that pristine honey oil color that it had when you dropped it in... well good to go, --- that is at least another...

    Is two years too long?

In response to conditions, all cars are garaged (of course), but some some cars are more garaged than others!! FGT is in HVACed condition. I'm in southeast where sub-freezing is unusual and probably doesn't penetrate into wind protected structures like a garage. Cars are always on pavement...

    Is two years too long?

Hey, I'm as lazy as the next guy... scratch that, I'm LAZIER than most!! My question for all you anal-retentive gearheads is: Is it reasonable to go TWO years between oil and filter changes, with the following provisos. I use only the specified OEM oil (always a full synth--Mobil 1 [except the...

    Question regarding fuel

ethanol Thought it obvious from my post that i also despised ethanol. I drive a fair distance to purchase ethanol-free. Aware of the higher BTU per volume or 'density' issue, as this has been described many times. Waiting to hear what Chip says re: no ethanol vs. Techron if one must choose.

    Question regarding fuel

how bad is ethanol? Because the boaters and 2 cycle guys despise 10% ethanol gas, I can still get ethanol-free 93 octane. The station owner knows the jobber that supplies him, but I didn't ask what national supplier the jobber buys from. I've always gone with the assumption that ethanol-free...

    I have a GREAT detailer.

Please give an idea of price for detailing. I'd like to know if what I'm paying my detail guy is in the proper ballpark. At my request he uses Zaino on my cars. Also for Torrie, did you strip off Zaino? or just go straight to the new stuff?

Getting the GT to SLC from Alabama

Need to make plans for hauling GT to SLC. I've talked to Jack of Excellence Auto Carriers and we need to get a trailer full for best pricing. I'm on the way out of Florida, close to ATL on I85, so it would be easy to start in FL and get me on the way by. REDEEMED

more than you can afford, pal... ford!

It is amazing how many people will ask what I paid for my FGT--- with the implicit assumption that my business is their business! My usual response is "Well, I got it used........" This allows me to have politely made a response to their query without giving any information. At the risk...

I need to see your FGT photos of your rocker panel stripe delete!

Yea, I know they're not really on the rocker panel, but you know what I mean. I'm considering peeling the side decals for a little more 'under the radar' appearance. So who has some photos of their sidestripe delete FGT? Would be nice to see it in RED. I've prowled thru lots of photos on...
