    Steep decline in FGT Values

Boy, I've been following this thread for a while now. A few thoughts' first, every collector car goes through cycles, the time to buy is in the low end of the cycle. Second, yes GT prices are flat to down, so what, see my first point. Lastly, there seems to be a lot of confusion around the...

Original FGT owners (that still own their car) that did NOT get order

I too am a member of the rejected list. Bought a 2005 and a 2006 when they first came out. Don't have those any longer but I still own a 2006 with 100 miles on the clock. I have bought and sold at least 10 GTs over the past 10 years but I have always had at least one in the garage to enjoy and...

    GT Car Cover

I have an original cover. It is in the original carry bag and the original plastic outer bag. The plastic bag is opened but the cover has never been out of the carrying bag. New, never used. $400 plus shipping takes it. I need to get rid of some things that are just sitting. I bought it back in...

    Sportscar Market April/June

I would like to read the article in more detail to try and capture his thoughts more fully. Like the rest of you have said; collectability and value are directly correlated to personal preference and most often "rarity". You can argue that with more than 4000 GTs built, the car is not as rare as...

    Ok be honest...

Just had to chime in on this thread. It would be nice if anyone who wanted a new Ford GT could get one but that simply isn't in the cards. I think Ford will be fair in their decision process and if you are interested in getting one, then you will need to apply and hope luck will be on your side...

    Window Sticker and Certificate

I was looking thru Ford GT paperwork today from previous cars that I have owned and came across a few interesting items. I have two sets of window stickers and Ford certificates of authenticity for two GTs which I bought new back in 2006/2007. If you own one of these cars, please let me know...

A short video interview with some kind words about my wife Ercie and I, and Ariels

You Sir, are a legend. Loved the interview but enjoyed your words of wisdom more. "Love what what you do and it will never be work." God bless.

    Has anyone seen this GT

OMG. Say it isn't so. Thank God it is a kit car. To every car there is a dream. More power to the owner.

    The New Shelby GT350

The issue with the R model is the tires and cold weather. The tires can develop cracks under freezing conditions for prolonged periods. GM had some serious issues with the new Corvette Z06 and the tires developing cracks when sitting in winter freezing conditions due to transport or on dealer...

    The New Shelby GT350

My local Ford dealer sent me a package yesterday that contained a Ford GT 350 brochure and a Ford Performance CD which featured about a half hour report on the GT 350. The video was hosted by various Ford project engineers who worked on the development of the car and they explained all of the...

    The New Shelby GT350

You really have to love small town Ford dealers who take care of their customers. I bought a GT 500 and a few F150 trucks from my local small town dealer. So he has an allocation for a GT350, not the R, and offers it to me for $500 under msrp. Showed me a broker's message offering him $6000 over...

    The New Shelby GT350

I have a GT 350 on reserve and need to place the order next week. Still trying to determine color and stripe or black roof. Is there a configurator some where on a ford site? I can't find it. I am ordering the track pack, wanted the GT 350R but my dealer was not able to get one. He is only...

    Timepiece Advice needed

Think about a Shinola. Assembled in Detroit with a Swiss movement. Lots of styles, colors and sizes are available. I have numerous other big name watches but I get the most favorable comments when I wear a Shinola. Prices range from $500 to $1000 US. They may be difficult to find in Europe but...

    Wild Pricing

GT prices continue to go into the Stratosphere. From the $412,000 paid recently for the Heritage to the Blue 170 mile car currently on ebay which is priced at $369,000. A yellow 1500 mile GT recently sold for $300,000 on the West Coast. I think I will continue to sit on my low mile Heritage a...

    Canadian GT

Were the bumper extensions easily removeable or is it a major project? They sure do make the car look ugly from behind. Also, Canadian cars usually bring a lower resale than US cars. Who knows why but it seems to hold true for all cars not just the GT.

Owner Review: Porsche Carrera GT vs. Ford GT Part 1 of 4

Excellent review overall. Great insight on the Porsche as I was not aware of the special clutch procedure in first gear launch. Well written. Cheers!

FordGTforSale.com and the Record setting GT sale at Mecum Auction today

Marv, you are a sly dog. I saw your post on the forum last night after the sale. I hope the new owner enjoys the Heritage. He really stepped up and it was clear that the car was going to be his no matter the price. Longer term the cost will be justified. It makes all our GTs look better. It had...

Delivery miles Heritage at mecum auction

Good news for all Ford GT owners, today's auction confirmed the continued collectibility of our cars. The new owner may have to wait some time for the market to catch up with his purchase price and I suspect there may be a little buyer's remorse in the morning. Great news for the rest of us.

Standard Wheels I have a set of 4 standard wheels with tires. These were takeoffs from a new GT. Excellent condition. I will only sell the entire set of four. Let me know.

    2006 / Late 2005 GT

I have been a huge fan of Blue GTs since I bought my first one new. They are getting really hard to find with very low mileage (<500). I searched for two years and Marv hooked me up with a 2006. There was a no stripe 900 mile Blue being sold by the gentleman in TN on ebay but that went last...
