Is Kip Ewing related to Bob Ewing?

I was looking at the owners manual(only 60 pages then) for my 69 Torino Cobra and it was serviced by Bob Ewing at Lafayette Ford in '71

    Transmission cooler maintenance

This sealant is awesome, I use it a lot. What gets compressed, hardens(absence of O2). Even acts like loctite as it squishes into threads. What doesn't get compressed stays fluid and won't plug anything if it dislodges. Only good for nicely machined surfaces. Silicone, etc. can compensate for...

    Transmission cooler maintenance

Probably Ford/International sealant/adhesive. Stuff is awesome and adds a little protection against leaks but I wouldn't use it on plugs. Excess can go places you don't want it too. Teflon paste and Aviation Permatex work well for plugs, or just install a new washer.

He said they're all Speedhuts already. He's going to wait until Spring to resolve this. I'll post remedy when we do.

Mine were bad when I got the car at 11k miles. Joints were fine. Just replaced a set on a 3800 mile car that were bad. Joints were fine on it too. Fortunately, generally, JEFF, these cars don't see mud puddles and salted roads so the joints fair well.

Fuel Delivery Module(fuel pumps, sender and pressure sensor)

It's 3 wires so I'm guessing it's a hall effect sensor. That said, it would have a moving part, the float. Also aligns with what GT101 said about a piece that fell off in the tank and bound it up. Is the disc the float, or rotated by a float?

Fuel Delivery Module(fuel pumps, sender and pressure sensor)

Gauge is stuck at low. He said a Ford tech diagnosed a bad sender. I told him I'd have to verify before pulling it because I suspect it's a gauge issue. Easy enough to check at the connector in passenger footwell. At least that's where the drawings look like it's at. He already installed...

Updates on your 2005-2006 Ford GT, What have you done lately?

Instead of a pressure washer or sand blaster, it shoots dry ice that evaporates leaving dirt dust on the floor to sweep up. Yes, a special machine that can be spendy, $3-14K There are shops and mobile companies that do it.

Screwdriver/FDM retainer removal tool/prybar, 1/2 ratchet/hammer. I love multi use tools. Have you ever seen a bad sending unit?

Fuel Delivery Module(fuel pumps, sender and pressure sensor)

I came across 2 Ford tools to remove unit from tank, 310-065 and 310-075. Are either of these correct? If not I'll get rid of them.
