    Anti Theft Kill Switch

Yup, that's the power of TopGear! I'm glad he sold it though. Especially as it was to me :)

    Anti Theft Kill Switch

That's because he never remembered to take the security fob with him as well as the keys. He could have got them to disable the fob, but that doesn't make as good a story......

    Water Wetter

Any Carrera GT owners out there?

There's a trick to getting them off the line, basically using the anti-stall you get you moving then go for it. As others have said all the owners do is talk about clutch's. As I live in the centre of London that ruled the car out due to our traffic issues. It's a lovely thing apart from that...

Great news on FGT values in "Sports Car Market"

I chatted to Michael in the Bahamas last year. He was starting to sell parts of his collections then I believe, stating that as he was spending more and more of his time on the island hanging on to it was pointless. Lovely chap.

    McLaren 12 C Chassis Pics

I had one on order last year but cancelled. Very fast, but a little odd to drive on the limit. Biggest issue was I had an itchy feeling about residuals..... I would have paid £205k in about March 2011. A car same spec as mine is for sale at a dealer with 3,100 miles (I would have done much more...

Nice UK article - well for me anyway!

I do, I've put about 15K miles on it on top of the 4,500 that Jeremy did. It's a popular car over here and I do a lot of charity events in it as well. When Ford sold it to me I think/hope that I was picked as they knew it'd get used, and I'm more than happy to do that :)

Nice UK article - well for me anyway!

The first 7 cars had over sensitive motion sensors. That was fixed in a week. All the other times it was because he couldn't remember to take the key card with him! Still, it made for good television, and that's his job after all.

Nice UK article - well for me anyway!

Yup, some DIN sized Alpine thing Mr Clarkson had fitted. It sounds great with its high quality amp (forget who makes that) and some very nice speakers. As a satnav though the technical term for it is sh1te :) I just use an iPad or iPhone with CoPolit software these days.

    Bahamas Speed Week

Actually, his steering wheel fell off! Shows how badly setup it was though as when he hit the brakes the wheels go full lock. I'll post some pictures later. It was a great event. If you were a full on racer it wouldn't have been a great test, but everyone was so much fun it more than made up for it.

First GT, owner Ex Ford Director?

Yup, that's him. I think I did ok on the hill today, but there are some other serious race cars around and very good drivers. Rob Walton, Bill Pope. Peter Vlasov and many other great guys, all with Sir Stirling Moss. Shows all cars nuts get on, regardless of the level.
