Maybe I was misinformed but I thought they changed this based on new epa regulations not for performance or durability reasons.

I dont purchase anything from best buy. Charging restocking based on untrue features of the purchased item(when the salesman says the computer has everything listed, only to find out later it does not have what you asked for). I have even heard stories about best buy charging restocking fees...

Is the gt350 limited in any way? Why purchase the gt350 from the dealer if one can purchase a normal mustang gt(msrp) and then pay Shelby(msrp) for the gt350 conversion?

From what I heard, one has to order the security package to get the HID's.

The 11 mustang gt is 3600lbs and maybe more with the bigger wheels and brakes. That said Shelby adds the blower/intercooler setup and all applicable equipment, then add a ton of extra(in my mind trashy) body work, plus a bunch of plaques and decals all over it. All together I would estimate...
