I personally think they will be a classic like the 959 someday. As far as price I believe they have fallen about 100k from msrp but yet are currently holding steady. Production run of 1270 with 604 being sold here stateside, the market is not over saturated like some of the other Porsche's.

It does look like a kit car. The build quality on this car is terrible. It does not look like a $50k car let alone a $500k one! The performance however....no one can deny it was very, very good and the reason people paid so much money for these cars.

I have heard great things about this tire as I believe it was/is an option on the on the AMV8 oem. Also have good things about the r888's. I would go with one of these tires if looking for a stout street/road course tire.

Im curious if anyone has had the 03 rs6 in the past or have known someone that has? I am currently looking at these cars as a fun 4 sedan that I could hold onto for years to come. Seeing as only 860 made it to our shores in early 2004 I am thinking that one day they may be a collectors...

If I am not mistaken the 2012 gt500 has 6.82 lbs per hp. 3750lbs(2011/12 gt500 minus the mach 1000 sound system)/550hp ~ 6.82

How much? 4200lbs....way too much!
