    Servicing in Massachusetts?

The guy on the phone did say why don’t I bring it back to where I bought it (which was Waltham Ford but I was not impressed with them when I bought it). So it sounds like he is more willing to work on your car if you bought it from him. That said I really don’t think he wants to work on any. He...

    Servicing in Massachusetts?

Specracer, Any update on your car and how things went at Jannell? I had planned on an oil change with them on Wednesday, but a women pushed it back until today because a car was on the lift (I assume yours). I called this morning to see about bringing it in and spoke with a guy named Tom who...

    Servicing in Massachusetts?

I had asked this very same question myself a few times. I bought my car from Waltham Ford in Feb and have not brought it to them. In April I brought it to Tasca in RI to have an alignment and to have one of the upper air inlets fixed (it sorta saggaed). They did a good job, but they are so big I...

    Something different - the GTB

Will you guys be at the Rally in August so that we can get a close up look at this and your other options? That said, I realize this is not a trade show, but will other vendors be on hand at the Rally? I would think the vendors would like to be, and I think it would be helpful for me to cut...

Shift lever moving in 6th gear when throttle on and off!

I have noticed that if you look close enough, you can notice this (to a lesser extent) in every gear (or at least more than just 6th)

    Anybody driving these ?

Had the car for 4 months and put 4000 miles on it. Bought it to drive not to worry about resale value (not planning on selling). At some point it may start to sit more but for now I drive it just about any place (with no passenger you can fit groceries just fine).

    Air Inlet Droop

That was my car. I brought it into Tasca Ford in RI and they managed to fix it no problem. Thinking back I don't know what the exact fix was. I was more interested in my clam shell alignment and my whell alignment both of which came out great. From what it looks like they 'reshaped' it or...

    Blown clutch already

I have been curious about a few things related to clutch replacements. 1) How much did it end up costing (parts and labor, did you use a dealer)? 2) I assume this is not a ‘warranty’ repair? 3) Did you still have the 1st to 2nd cool grind with the new clutch? rich

Racing bearing sound between 2k - 2.5k RPMs

I notice that as I go up or down through about 2000 – 2500 RPMs I hear what sounds like a racing bearing from what seems to be in front of the shifter some place (really tough to tell). It happens on the way up in the RPMs first appears just past 2000 RPMs and will disappear just before 2500 or...

Who has driven there GT in the Rain

Jeff, Any feedback on getting in and out of the car in the rain? I am taking a trip with a friend this weekend and it looks like we will hit some rain. Yesterday when I was washing the car I noticed that when I open the door when the roof is wet, I get a big puddle in the seat, not so good. Any...

    Fuel smell and milage

My gas receipts are in the car at the dealer right now, but if memory serves me right I have been filling up when I get to a ¼ tank left, and by that point I have gone ~150 – 160 miles. I remember computing the mpg after one refill and it was close to 13 mpg. I have not noticed any smell of gas...

Air Inlet Sag and Rear ClamShell...

The clamshell operates just fine. The only issue (if it is one) is that when you pull the release it dosent crack open. You need to knodge it a bit. I guess that is a bit of a drag now that I think of it, and I think it did pop right up the first few times I opened it. Oh well will have them...

Air Inlet Sag and Rear ClamShell...

I am taking my car in to have the alignment of the clamshell looked at. In addition to finally starting to notice the body panel gaps do not end in the same plane (seems as if the entire thing is on twisted (under gaps on one side and over on the other). Also the back driver side bend rubs every...

    MA Area Service (again)...

You know that was one thing I was thinking for sure. There seems to be no 'pull' from the car, in other words it tracks straight (albeit with the steering a degree or so off center). So I wondered if it could in fact just be the wheel itself alignment. That said it might take a car with such...

    MA Area Service (again)...

Hmmm I did not use a transport company (bought the car to drive). Could have been the dealers transport company but that seems like it would have been a more widespread issue. Ockam teaches it might be just as simple as the alignment, but I will get some more info on Wednesday when I bring it to...

    MA Area Service (again)...

Haven’t hit anything (that I am aware of) :) I think it may have been ever so slightly off on delivery (either didn't notice as much or to giddy to care) now I want to get it taken care of before it gets way out. As a second car, the Prius is a GREAT car. It to in some ways is a joy to drive...
