    Social distancing GT style

These days a better question might be: "How many miles have you driven anything!" In my own case, over the past 3 weeks that'd be a 3 mile round-trip to pick up wifey's meds. Period. ;-) (STELLAR photo, BTW. (y)(y))

MID ENGINE MUSTANG.... R U READY FOR IT?

This clearly wouldn't apply to the M/E Mustang vs. the NFGT, but, I don't see how the M/E Camaro could be built for less money than the new M/E 'Vette. So, from a marketing standpoint, why bother?

    Paint "Respray" effect on value?

I once trusted someone whom I thought was a friend. 'Cost me $50K. 'Just sayin'. But, obviously it's your money. ;) 'Hope everything works out exactly as you hope, Sir.

    Paint "Respray" effect on value?

How do you know either is the case? A clean car fax means nothing, really. Lots of FGTs have had body repairs done 'off the books'. 'Would seriously suggest you have a PPI done by a FGT expert before you go any further.

Eddie FourFather Hill’s 2006 Ford GT Heritage For Sale

If I remember correctly, it'd be round 4.0 Gs average over the 1/4 mile (I guess it's 1,000 feet now) and a peak of something like 5 or 6 Gs? Eddie will know for sure.

    Hold my beer

"...the car should be okay and maybe we'll continue." "Hope springs eternal..." (- Alexander Pope) I'm betting the driver won't be needing Metamucil for at least another month. Good grief.

    FORD GT SPEEDSTER CONCEPT.

Looks aside, I'd be concerned about what would need to be done to maintain the car's 'rigidity' once the top is removed.

    DMC-12 Back in production.

I didn't find mine to be "horrible"...'just under-powered. Otherwise, it was fun to drive. 'Briefly considered swapping a T.T. Buick Grand National V6 into it...but, sold it first.

How can you increase supercharger wine?

If I recall correctly, the superchargers on the '05/'06 FGTs are driven by 'ribbed' belts? Somewhere back in the cobweb-infested corners of what's left of my brain, I seem to recall Gilmer belt-driven superchargers make more noise (whine/whistle) than ribbed belt-equipped units due to air being...

Don't Try This In a Ford GT

Weird. I don't know why I was told what I was told then. Perhaps the LEO confused the above incident with a similar one...although I would think the odds of someone else pulling the same stunt on the same highway at a similar speed in an identical (or similar) car would be darned slim. Anyway...
