Been there, done that. I bought a new GT500 plus a 1966 E type coupe, plus a 2003 911 turbo. The rest is going on a major home remodel to keep mywife happy! I realized that I’m just not cut out for driving million dollar cars, can have more fun with cheaper stuff.

One year at Big Bend’s Open Road Race I was in my 06 and Donny Mac was in his. I asked him how he was going to time his run (you have a target time to aim for) and he said “i’m just going to follow you!” And that’s exactly what he did!

Ski boot bags fit perfectly behind the seats. Per Mark mcGs recommendation don’t use a bag in the frunk, just pack your clothes directly in- it’s amazing how much stuff you can fit

We went all four years that the GTs ran, and sadly watched them get less competitive each year, culminating in the disgraceful DQs of 2019. Agreed though that 2016 was the most special, particularly for some of us lucky ones who got to hoon around Europe in our GTs prior to the race!

Can’t wait to see Chip’s scantily-clad cheerleaders....
