    Good Cop Bad Cop

Yeah, we got that also in beautiful New York State. Years ago, I got that and was told to get it on or else. from then on, I either put both plates on the rear and told the cops that I had the bracket on order and put both back there to keep them together, that worked, but I know it was not for...

Leaving the trunk and clamshell open

Maybe next time its out at The GT Guys place, but for now, I am new and want it stock. Just enjoying it the way it is for now, however learning stuff everyday! This whole leaving the clamshell open gig was just a question I guess of the alarm for Fords disable system, that when you double lock...

Leaving the trunk and clamshell open

Yes, I have done that with my other cars also, and still do. But on the GT I am thinking that both the clamshell and the trunk need to be open. I like to lock up the car though when I leave it and wonder if leaving things open is really a good idea....think of the critters? And such?

Leaving the trunk and clamshell open

If I leave the clamshell open, what about any locking feature? Or is there a factory alarm? All that heat kinda scares me, but I guess I am just thinking too much. What started me on this kick was I did see my plastic vents on the top look like they were warping, but after cooling, they went...

Photos of the day we bought our Ford GT's.

10K Over. I have heard stories of them selling both ways. Some less than list price, and some over list price. Did you hear Jay claiming he paid way under list price? A guy up our way, (Syracuse, NY) told me he paid 75K over at 250K?? I am not sure I believe that. Who knows.... Anyway, I was...

Leaving the trunk and clamshell open

Just wondering, but after a nice ride out and about, I got my car back to my garage where I keep it and felt around and thought, wow this car is warm, so I opened the trunk, and the clamshell to let the hot air dissipate faster. When I was done with doing some stuff, I closed it up and left to...

How to change the front turn signal bulb on the passenger or right side?

From what I am reading, I have to remove the front splitter. I also read that a person said to slap the top of the headlight housing, too which I did, and it started working! Where we live in NYS we have bad, bumpy, no maintained roads, due to Mario's son not knowing that there is a place called...

Great pictures, now can we move to the front of the car and show how to change a simple turn signal bulb? Passenger side would be great, and both sides would be better. NYS inspection needs turn signals to work and I got 9 days and counting to get it done! If I was a car designer I would make...

How to change the front turn signal bulb on the passenger or right side?

I see many posts for the Driver's or left front side turn signal bulb, but none for the right side. How is this done?

The clutch and my foot, and the floor mat? And something!

Haha, I think someone should compile a bunch of stories of things like this and write a book, make it comical.

The clutch and my foot, and the floor mat? And something!

Oh yes, I know 3rd gear is not good, I surprised myself how easy it was to make that mistake, years ago I had a focus SVT with a 6 speed and it kinda reminded me when I did that. Have not done the 3rd gear start again. I just did not know the GT's shifter, its a "hard" click to the left for...

The clutch and my foot, and the floor mat? And something!

I set myself up in it, and it is much better, to be honest, I was looking for something and I cannot figure how it happened, It might have been the excitement of getting it and moving it for the first time. I got to say, whenever I get a car delivered, I usually do something stupid, like my 67...

Thanks I will set myself up in it, and I will look at the floor closer and see if something may have been there. I was too excited to look! Thank you, I bought it off this forum!

The clutch and my foot, and the floor mat? And something!

I am a new owner of a 06 GT. Never driving the car before I bought it, I did make some mistakes. First off, I was not pushing the pedal all the way in, thus the car would not crank....LOL jokes on me! Then, went to move it off the street and into the garage, started out in 3rd.....Haha, another...
