Welcome to the Forum. I also think you got a good price for the kilometers. First advice: Just drive the car! It's a pleasure to drive exactly as it came from the factory. Learn about it and how you use it. Put 5000 or so kilometers on it before you think about changing anything. Before...

    The Price of XPEL

+10 on getting the windshield covered. I had a new windshield installed and covered 4 years ago, so I don't know who in my area does it now. There are several vendors, not just Clearplex. When first applied, it has some minor optical distortion, but after a couple weeks it flattens out and...

    The Price of XPEL

I did the front, front fenders, trunk lid, and top of the car only. I also use the Stillen mud guards to keep stuff from getting thrown up on the sides. The leading edges of the side scoops still get nicked up pretty thoroughly.

    F150 Ecoboost or Powerboost?

I would consider buying any vehicle wirh lots of sensors and interdependent electronics without a warranty as a deal breaker. I have a LOT of experience as a DIY, but I know that without Ford dealer diagnostic software and direct factory support, I can’t fix those things. Neither can most...

    AC controls

The lights are LEDs on the control board under the knob, which is why the procedure is to replace the module. You could try to unsolder and replace the LED, or find a way to mount a couple generic LEDs very close to, or on, the board to illuminate the knob. I fixed a Nakamichi cassette deck...

    F150 Ecoboost or Powerboost?

Consideration: The Powerboost has up to 7KW of 120V/240V? power at the bed, for powering tools, etc., or even your house in a power outage.

    Ahlman Suspension

I've written praise about them in several other threads. Really an upgrade, not just a replacement.

Looking for Advice - General Precautions

What everyone else said, and with emphasis on driving it regularly. The ones that have the most problems are the ones that don't get driven. I'm at 90,000+ miles and no problems, other than maintenance, or me bumping stuff. If you are in western Idaho, a member here, Ed (HighHP) is in...

    Ceramic coatings test results

Someone might have posted this before, but I didn't see it recently, and it's worth reposting since many of us use these products. "Project Farm" did a test of ceramic coatings to see if the most expensive stuff is better than the cheap stuff. Spoiler alert: Yes, there are significant...

    ABS Module Help Needed

I have an F150 and frequent the F150 Forum online. I don't how well this appli4s to the GT, but here is a discussion of reprogramming ABS modules using Forscan. Do you have Forscan?

Carlisle Ford Nationals - Ford GT Gathering - June 6-8, 2025

Yeah, 10 years ago--and so was Rally 10 in Detroit. But I moved to WA state 5 years ago, so I won't be there this year.

    Jacking/Lifting points

Ditto what extrap said. I do it this way frequently. Use a hockey puck or other firm rubber pad between the jack saddle and the car.
