    Air bag canisters replaced today

My local Ford dealer send two techs out to replace passenger side airbags while my Porsche tech was servicing my car. Make sure when they remove the lower dash to support the middle part where the stereo deck sits, this will avoid any type of wrinkles or slight bent in the lower dash when they...

The same 2017 Ford GT going up for sale again

True, but within 100 miles radius of LA, this area consumes 60% of the world's production sports car each year.

The same 2017 Ford GT going up for sale again

Perhaps I was a bit harsh in my comment and perhaps my perception has been skewed by the 4 NFGT owners that I know personally in LA. One is a Youtuber and rents his house. The other three owners lives in a 2-3 million dollar homes and had to take a line of credit from their bank to purchase...

    NGT Oil Change

Wow, only 8K? That's a super deal! I think owners should buy 2-3 sets before they jack up the prices over time.

    NGT Oil Change

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have any idea of how much all of the underside panels costs from Ford to replace?

The same 2017 Ford GT going up for sale again

There is no doubt that the NFGT is a beautiful car and I think over time, it will age very well. :thumbsup However, your average NFGT buyers are not in the same category as the P1/Pagani/LaFerrari buyers. I bet you the majority of the NFGT owners purchased their cars through financing of some...

The same 2017 Ford GT going up for sale again

Agreed. Once the 2 year embargo expires, the market will readjust itself and I see the NFGT pricing itself right around the 800-850k range in the foreseeable future. FGT will creep back up a little bit, just to bring the difference (I think 400-450K to be a fair delta) between the FGT and NFGT...

Help - How can I find some used parts?

You sure your car came with the upgraded Mcintosh stereo system from the factory? I find it odd that the previous owner would swap out the subwoofer for the storage unit?

    Tires

I personally love the design of the 6 spoke, much better looking than the BBS version. I just wished the 6 spoke was a forged design though.

How come I don't see FGTs anymore on the street?

+1 You and me both! When the Ford GT came out, I was only 24 years old at the time and I just started my company about 2 years in. I always wanted a FGT, but at the time, my money was all tied up with my business. Now I look at this beautiful car sitting in my garage and I can't get the...

    Tires

I just bought a 2006 FGT and replaced the 12 years old Goodyears with the new Bridgestone, and they made a huge difference! With the added width, the car does follow the road a bit as a result. But overall stance looks so much better with the extra 30mm.

How come I don't see FGTs anymore on the street?

That's really unfortunate, because the FGT is a great driver's car. It's interesting to see that back in the days, people would pick up their FGT in a trailer during delivery. I guess this is pretty standard practice for FGT. You don't ever see Porsche customers picking up their 150k 911...

How come I don't see FGTs anymore on the street?

No way! 35% loss after 13 years? That's unheard of. If you bought any properties in SoCal in 2005, you would have made at least 80-100% return on your money today.
