I just received a sender from Ford, pt #4G7Z-9D290-AB that was on a "supplier problem" back order for a while.

I change my oil once a year, about 2000 miles and 1-2 track days. If I tracked more, I'd change it more. If I didn't track it I'd still change it once a year. I do it at the end of the year so it doesn't sit several winter months with contaminated oil. A tad bit of coolant could rust components...

I ordered a VSS for a 1994 F150 today. Delphi($18) said made in China, Dorman($26) said American product. I ordered the Dorman. There were also VSS's for $8 but unknown brand. They're probably all made at the same $8 place.

If you track it or have mods, DO IT. Try to touch the trans after a regular day of driving. Cheap insurance. I would recommend SS fittings on the case and to drill them out a bit too.
