    Oh Oh

Was at Jason's the other day for some routine work on my car, saw yours being striped down...looks great and seeing the "guts" of these cars was a pretty good education. Just solidifies the fact that these cars are works of art and incorporate very well thought out engineering. Again, appreciate...

I think I totaled my GT! Safety Reminder, HELP! w/ insurance, salvage, new GT,repair?

It might be worth your while to fly in the "GT Guys" to assess the car's damage BEFORE you sign off with the insurance company or have the car repaired elsewhere. I sure would if I were in your shoes with the best looking FGT colored-car! Always best to have a "Professional" diagnosis! As a...

    Ford vs Safir

I'm sure that many other owners of our cars have experienced the "Mustang" confusion when re-up-ing for insurance or ordering a part. The "GT" moniker is 'way to generic, IMO but we're stuck with it...unless some legal genius among us feels inclined to go to the mat on this one! The GT40 is what...

    GT Mud flaps = sacriledge?

Likewise, I've got 'em and being black, the fronts and backs match perfectly. Really does keep the road s#*t off the sides and rear of the FGT. Great product!

GT Pilot: Great idea...much needed! Just paid PayPal for one and looking forward to seeing the UPS guy at the door, package in hand. HAPPY Thanksgiving!

    Alternate Bumper Delete Concept

What about designing these "bumperetts" in a metal alloy, done perhaps in a color, such as black (my personal favorite) or any body color variation thereof, including chrome?

Shadowman and a Soft Place to Rest

Very nice idea. Count me in for a set to match the OEM color.

Ever hear the perfect song for your GT

Gotta be "Best of Super Tramp". Every cut on this CD is fantastic road music but I have to really crank the volume to overcome that wonderful Heffner "cat-back" header sound! Good sounds either way!!

    An interesting GT story

That's a great story, Dave and the group needs to have this guy give an informal talk at one of the RallyIV dinners! Nothing like hearing the stories and the tall tales from the people who were in at the height of the program!

Mini Post Rally get together in FL

Yeh...I know you can! That's the issue with this FGT disease! Given the world economy melt-down and the condition of the Dow, just let me know when a nice, clean no-story Black FGT comes on the market at the current price of a Hundai!

Mini Post Rally get together in FL

Chris: Sorry to have missed that get Sarasota together, especially meeting Shelby. He probably would have talked me into another Black car from him to use as a "daily-driver"! Next time! Might be cooking somethin' up for "school va-ca"-time in February with the New England contingent, escaping...

New Sill plates !! Teaser Drawings

BRIAN: Black w/Carbon Fiber suits me just fine. The reference to the bit of LeMans racing history that actually put our cars on the map is a brilliant idea, especially as that "Old-School" squib would be blended with 21st century techno-carbon fiber lookks! Gotta love it...just my opinion and PM...

    Welcome Buddy Stubbs!!!

As a very proud owner of a car similar to the one purchased by Buddy from Shelby at Elite, I sure can join the rest of this group in welcoming Buddy aboard! Clearly a man of superb taste, Buddy has wisely chosen the correct color/stripe delete! Good luck with the car and drive safe...preserve...

    Laguna Seca Pics

Looking forward to seeing these cars (and Forum Members!) at the St. Pete GP this coming year! For sure, the Robertson Racing people were more than generous with their time and very giving of info to improve the FGT.

Pictures of my centerbolt wheel project

Those are great looking wheels with the center adaptor! As for the "adaptor kit" you speak of, will the "kit" adapt to the upgrade BBS wheels? Would be sweet if that's do-able! If so, count me in for a set to fit my extra BBS wheels.

GT too super for the streets?

Sooo true what they say about life and wine...applies to cars, too.

    Enclosed Truck Transport Question

Just my humble opinion but I've had excellent luck with Intercity Transport. Have used them many times from CA to FL to RI. One of their drivers is a great guy, an Aussie who used to race TVR's back-in-the-day and ya gotta be careful strapping down those tube-framed cars! They can handle a FGT...

    New england car show

Show Might bring the TVR Vixen S2 "SuperSport". It's Ford-engined...1600cc cross-flow, 3/4 race Piper, 40 DCOE Weber's and lots more. Probably would out-corner a FGT.
