    Speedometer Busted

Fantastic, Kendall. Do you plan on doing the same with the smaller gauges or is just buying one of the new 'improved' versions more cost effective?

Check engine light on - Code P0401 EGR flow insufficient detected

Ah, but I'm no longer a Californian:) But Houston still has a yearly OBDII scan along with a safety inspection. TXDPS allow one non-continuous monitor to be 'not ready', so if it's just the EGR, I should be ok. Thanks again, Kendall.

Ha. Thanks Kendall. So, no issue with just turning it off with the tune?

Check engine light on - Code P0401 EGR flow insufficient detected

Got p0401 on the way to the TX Hill Country rally last week. Cleared it, came back again. Now i have p0401 and 0402, both EGR related codes. From what I can gather from cursory internet research, it can be caused by deposits in the valve or tubing, or the valve and/or sensor are bad and need to...

Possible gauge protection solution CUSTOMER LIST

Good question. Haven't put a volt meter to the battery, but there aren't any other signs that it's dying. Car starts without hesitation and all the other gauges/electronics work fine. Car is usually on a CTEK. Has never been off a charger more than a week or so. But checking the battery is my...

Possible gauge protection solution CUSTOMER LIST

Just checked junction box. The 5 Amp fuse did not blow, so the failure is definitely from another cause. I suppose it's possible the gauge actually still works but for some reason isn't getting a signal from the battery. But assuming it's the actual gauge that took a crap, aside from the hassle...

Possible gauge protection solution CUSTOMER LIST

New data point for this thread. Just noticed my volt meter appears to be dead. Pegged at 'L'. Doesn't move at all with multiple attempts at starting/restarting the ignition. All the other gauges work. I used Jay's 'Alternate Method' configuration with the 5 and 15 Amp fuses. Haven't checked...

Tim You should talk with Jeff and Dick Boulais. They probably have some of the most extensive experience with the SPF GT40 on this forum.
